LYRICS:
Walkin’ ’round downtown Asheville
Goin’ from bar to bar
Yeah I’m walkin’ ’round downtown Asheville
Goin’ from bar to bar
Lookin’ for a place
Where I can play guitar
CHORUS:
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
From my head down to my shoes
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
Nothin’ to gain; nothin’ to lose
When I get these Asheville blues
It’s hard to make a decent livin’
Playin’ these Asheville blues
Yeah it’s hard to make a decent livin’
Playin’ these Asheville blues
But when there’s no other way
To earn your pay
You do what you’ve got to do
CHORUS:
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
From my head down to my shoes
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
Nothin’ to gain; nothin’ to lose
When I get these Asheville blues
So I’m walkin’ ’round downtown Asheville
Goin’ from bar to bar
Yeah I’m walkin’ ’round downtown Asheville
Goin’ from bar to bar
Lookin’ for a place
To put my old tip jar
CHORUS:
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
From my head down to my shoes
I’m gettin’ these Asheville blues
Nothin’ to gain; nothin’ to lose
When I get these Asheville blues
I’ve got nothin’ to gain; nothin’ to lose
When I get these Asheville blues
